VC Young Artist Viano String Quartet Signs to Opus 3 Artists

The quartet will be represented by Opus 3 Artists’ Jenny Vogel and Julijana Mijalković.

Formed in 2015 at the Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, the Viano Quartet is the school’s Ensemble-in-Residence through the 2020-21 season.

The Viano Quartet is a former major prize winner at the Osaka, Wigmore Hall, Yellow Springs, and Fischoff International Chamber Music Competitions. In September of 2019, they were awarded first prize at the prestigious Banff International String Quartet Competition, in Banff, Canada.

Recent appearances include performances at the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival, the Friends of Chamber Music of Troy, the Salt Lake Chamber Music Society, and the Banff International String Quartet Festival.
